Aunt Bea`s in Greeneville

Great local mom & pop diner. I've gone for breakfast several times, never lunch or dinner. They are always crowded and busy in the mornings before 10 so it's normally seat yourself. The omelettes aren't the super fluffy kind of eggs & I really like that. Biscuits, gravy, and grits all live up to my Southern expectations although I always add several pats of butter & salt to the grits. This latest visit I had the fried bologna sandwich for breakfast. It wasn't thick sliced but came with 2 slices. Everything is cooked to order (the over medium eggs were the perfect ratio of runny yolks) so it does take time but a bigger group, over 4 people, can still be in & out around an hour or less. All my servers have been super nice & attentive to drink refills.

Love coming here for breakfast. Great food great service great prices! The girls that work there are so sweet.

Good fiod, not bad price, slow service

Was exceptional. Had the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with hash browns. Was excellent service and super fast. Highly recommend.

Greatly enjoyed breakfast here. The food took a bit long to come out, but when it did, it was hot and everything was cooked perfectly. Quantity was generous and prices were reasonable. Service was excellent, my coffee cup never got below 1/2 full. Will definitely be back!

We were traveling to visit family and found this wonderful place for a home cooked breakfast! Coffee is great, pancakes were thirsty for syrup and yummy, so our day was started in a positive direction......

Ended up at Aunt Bea's after driving from Chicago>Jacksonville>Greenville. And the home cooking that I had waiting for me on the last leg of my journey was just what I needed.Thanks Auntie.

Great entrees and sides! Loved them. Will return for them. The desserts were a disappointment. Tasted old.

First time at this eatery! A great breakfast place as that is the only thing the 7 of us had. Highly recommend.

I gave it 5 star Everytime we have went in to eat all is went well we weren't there over 20 min tops. But on the other hand my mom called in 3 biscuits and had to wait 45 min on simple biscuits.... She was very not happy about that situation. She never got a sorry or a discount or anything.... So she probably will not be back there for a while. The biscuits were hard as a rock... So something needs to be done about the call ins.... She hasn't recommend anyone else there after that happened... But please let's all we work together to come to a conclusion that will help everyone. Maybe some type of discount next time we come in or free piece of pie or something...... Thanks would be greatly appreciated.

We had lunch here for the first time and it was great. Definitely was that home cooked meal we needed. The pinto beans are amazing, so much flavor.The carrot cake was so good I want to go back daily for a piece. So moist and tasted amazing.We will definitely be back.

So we usually don’t give negative reviews at all but this situation I must. I brought my girl in for a nice breakfast together. I ordered the meat omelette and she had the cheese omelette. Well after waiting 40 mins for our food to come out we finally got it. She asked for here omelette to be well done, it came out with the cheese inside not melted and the eggs were a little runny. No problem we send it back in to be heated up a little more. The waitress took it back and we never saw the omelette again nor did we have a waitress come cack to our table. We gave up!And instead of having a great breakfast I ended up having to bring my girl to McDonald’s afterwards so she could grab a quick bite before she headed off to work. Also please take away the salt shakers for the cooks. Every time everything is so salty. Not sure I’ll be back after this one.

This is SOOO GOOD!!EVERYTHING HOMEMADE AND DELICIOUS!! REAL FRIED POTATO'S.. GRITS.. PANCAKES MELT IN YOUR MOUTH.. BISCUITS ARE HOMEMADE AS IS GRAVY.. BACON AND TENDERLOIN UNBELIEVABLE..I CAN'T RAVE ENOUGH!!Homemade pies and.. the waitresses ROCK..HOMEMADE perfectly..Even bought the tee shirt... GO THERE

This place is great for breakfast and lunch. Good food and better service. Self seating works good and they always serve you with a smile.

When they say good home cooking they are not lying. Friendly, fast service, modest establishment. Care and skill in preparing the food. Veggies are sautéd before going in the omelet. Solid coffee. Great value, all the locals know this is where to visit.

Good food, large portions, nice people. I had the pot roast, very good flavor...mashed potatoes good but need butter as does the corn bread and rolls. I would recommend.

Don’t go in there hungry, you may walk out the same way. Portion size was horrible. Patty melt had zero flavor and meat to bread ratio was a joke and you only get like 10 tater tots. Sad first impression, needless to say, I won’t be going back.

Awesome place to eat. Was just riding my motorcycle through Greenville and always try to eat at mom & pops places and this one was a great stop.

We ate breakfast it was great. Home sausage I would ccok it longer it was pink in the middle. And to take home we got meatloaf and fried squash was delicious

Took my 82 yr old momma out fer lunch, we enjoyed eating here! Sure did. And if you like Southern cooking, friendly folks and a cozy atmosphere..............I guarantee your gonna like the food & folks here too!

Small mom & pop restaurant that's packed at lunch. Another local joint that doesn't coddle newcomers. Waitresses and cashier aren't overly friendly. They get the job done, though, and no one seems to mind. They keep a close enough eye in you, so the service is good enough. I enjoyed a lovely vegetable plate. The greens needed salt. They had absolutely no seasoning. The cornbread was good because they don't make it with sugar. The fried green tomatoes were dredged in mustard before they were breaded. Gave them a nice tangy flavor. They were fried beautifully. I didn't care for them being served in a cup. The bottom one became soggy. The cornbread salad was a little heavy on the mayo and cheese, but it was a fun concoction!

We both had breakfast. His sausage was black burned on both sides. My eggs were full of snot and hash browns burnt. Coffee was good. No butter for pancakes. Would not do this again for that price. Maybe try lunch if go again.

First time here and felt like an old friend to the staff they were the sweetest group of young servers I've ever seen.. I had breakfast and my boyfriend had lunch all of the food was delicious my boyfriend says he'd come back just for the fries "they're the bomb" thanks to the staff for a pleasant experience for a couple of strangers .. We'll see you soon

Great breakfast, huge pancakes and the coffee is good. Our first visit, liver and onions on the menu. We will go back. A very popular place with locals, only draw back is they close at 2:30pm.

Good food and good people.

Slow, inattentive service. Overcooked eggs & bacon. Dry biscuits and pancakes. Mediocre gravy and french toast. Were told they definitely had whole milk, got watery milk that tasted like 1 or 2%. Had to ask for silverware after already getting the meal. Seated near kitchen and still got passed by many times without being checked on to take order, or mid meal to see if we needed anything.

Love this little restaurant! Great hometown atmosphere, food is always great, and staff is always friendly.
